Take Advantage of Disney's Photopass
Disney photographers are all over Disney properties ready to take your picture. The first time you have your picture taken by a Disney photographer, you will be given a Photopass card which will allow Disney to digitally store all your pictures that Disney photographers take for you throughout your entire vacation. The best part is you can view all your pictures on-line for 30 days after your vacation. So, you can wait until you get home to make the decision on which pictures you want to purchase. In addition to individual pictures, you can choose several other media options. My favorite is the CD which will give you copyright priviledges to all the pictures that were taken. You can even make digital enhancements to your pictures and your CD will contain the original picture and the enhanced picture. With the copyright priviledges, you can have the pictures printed at your favorite photo store.

How Families Can Beat the Lines

Disney offers the Fastpass to everyone who has a Disney theme park Ticket. Think of it as a reservation to return to the attraction so you can ride without waiting in the long lines. The best way to take advantage of using the Fastpasses is to send a "runner" to the Fastpass attraction to retrieve everyone's Fastpass. In the meantime the slower moving group can make their way to the next attraction on their list. This will cut down on the extra walking for the rest of the group, but still allow you to use most of (if not all) the Fastpass attractions which will save you lots of time standing in line.

The Disney Dining Plan is Awesome!

My family has found that using the Disney Dining plan is a great way to save money and is very convenient. Depending on which dining plan you choose, you can save 20% - 40% off your total dining expensive. Your dining credits are tied electronically to your room key which allows you to access all your dining credits even if the family is not together. The dining credits are good at most restaurants on Disney property. With the ability to add the dining plan to your Magic Your Way package, your dining expenses are all prepaid leaving no surprises in your dining budget. The best part is that full service dining credits can be used for all character meals. But remember, you can only purchase a dining plan if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel.
